Zhenja collaborates across Fòs Feminista’s teams to develop and connect Fòs Feminista’s vision, mission, and values to organizational strategy and foundations, Alliance governance and partnership, and program design and implementation. She also coordinates an organization-wide effort to engage partners and other stakeholders in the Alliance to co-create and share Stories of Change, a combination of narratives and art that offer a nuanced and intersectional understanding of the impact of Fòs Feminista’s work on the lives of women, girls, and gender-diverse people. Having worked with Fòs Feminista in different capacities for 25 years, Zhenja is thrilled to be a part of an organization that is constantly listening and evolving to respond to the needs of partners and the people at the center of our work.

Zhenja holds an MA in journalism and Latin American and Caribbean Studies from New York University.
