Gabriela is a 21-year-old youth advocate and a Board Member for Anis Institute of Bioethics, a Brazil-based Fòs Feminista Alliance partner that works to advance reproductive justice.
Gabriela has been engaged in gender justice and advocacy since she was in high school. In 2021, she participated in the White House’s National Gender and Equality Strategy Consultation on behalf of Anis and Fòs Feminista. She is also currently a volunteer for Circuitos Não é Não, a national online course developed by Anis and Fòs Feminista in partnership with the University of Brasilia, focused on the prevention of violence against women in restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.
Gabriela is currently a law student at the University of Brasilia (Brazil). She speaks Portuguese, English, and French. She is excited to participate in Fòs Feminista’s Board of Directors, an opportunity to contribute to significant changes in the global scenario of sexual and reproductive rights, and to continue to build new strategies for young women and gender-diverse teens from the Global South to become agents of transformation.
