Carlos Carrazana’s professional journey reflects his commitment to effecting positive change. Notably, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Save the Children, where his leadership shaped the organization’s global vision over nearly a decade. Prior to Save the Children, his dedication extended to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, where he held the role of COO, working tirelessly toward an HIV-free world for mothers and children.

Subsequently, Carlos embraced diverse interim executive roles. In his most recent position as interim COO at The Trevor Project, a mental health organization for LGBTQ youth, he spearheaded the establishment of the organization’s Mexico office, expanding its reach and impact. Earlier, at the League of Conservation Voters (LCV), he championed environmental advocacy and accountability as interim COO.

Carlos’s corporate acumen was honed through key roles at Deloitte as Managing Director and JPMorgan Chase in international banking. He possesses a solid academic foundation, with an undergraduate degree in economics from Bentley University, an MBA from American University’s Kogod School of Business, and a Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from the University of Miami School of Medicine.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Carlos is a dedicated part-time faculty professor at Georgetown University, a recipient of an honorary doctorate from American University, and an active philanthropist. He serves on the boards of Greenpeace and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation while offering guidance and support to Fòs Feminista. Carlos resides in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where his commitment to meaningful charitable endeavors continues to make a lasting impact.
