A Feminist, Global South–led Analysis of Anti-rights and Anti-gender Action from America
This document presents an analysis of three components of the anti-rights and anti-gender projects coordinated by individuals and organizations from the U.S. – the Geneva Consensus Declaration (GCD), Women’s Optimal Health Framework (WOHF), and Project 2025 – and reads them together as a continuum of efforts to erode the right to bodily autonomy of women, girls, and gender-diverse people both within and outside the U.S. Together, these frameworks aim to institutionalize regressive views on reproductive rights, healthcare, and social policies, domestically and globally, disavowing progressive gender and sexual rights as part of human rights.
