Our commitment

Taking care of each other is at the heart of everything we do. Fòs Feminista offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation package that supports all Team Members’ financial care, personal care, and professional growth.

The compensation and benefits for each of our hiring locations are competitive with local markets for international NGOs and ensure internal equity in benefits, in accordance with local labor laws.

Recognizing that salary negotiations disproportionately benefit people with privileges, we have eliminated them at hiring. All new positions will be hired at the salary posted for the position.

Financial Care

Fòs Feminista provides salaries that are internally equitable and locally competitive, alongside other monetary benefits, to support Team Members to have financial security.

Annual Adjustments

Each year, budget permitting, Fòs Feminista will adjust the salary of all eligible Team Members.

Life Insurance

Fòs Feminista provides life insurance for Team Members in all hiring locations.

Personal Care

Fòs Feminista is committed to providing a holistic set of benefits and to creating an organizational culture that prioritizes flexibility, safety, engagement, and work-life balance.

Flexible Work Environment

Building from mutual trust, Fòs Feminista supports all Team Members to work virtually from their hiring location with the flexibility to create a schedule that accommodates their personal needs and care responsibilities.

Comprehensive Medical Insurance

Fòs Feminista ensures that all Team Members, and their life partner and/or eligible family members, have access to quality private health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision benefits at no cost or minimal cost for employees and their eligible family members.

Disability

When required by applicable laws, Fòs Feminista covers disability insurance premiums for Team Members.

Paid Time Off

Fòs Feminista offers a generous paid time off package to support Team Members to spend time with loved ones or do whatever brings them joy. All Team Members are entitled to at least 23 vacation days per year (exact number depends on tenure and hiring location), plus the nationally recognized public holidays in their hiring location. Fòs Feminista celebrates two collective care weeks annually (mid-year and last week of December) when our teams can rest and recuperate.

New parents are entitled to at least 12 weeks paid leave (exact amount depends on hiring location). Fos Feminista also accommodates Team Members using accrued paid leave to supplement parental leave.

Fòs Feminista also provides 12 days of sick and care leave per year to all Team Members.

Professional Growth

Fòs Feminista is committed to offering salary growth and career development opportunities to Team Members. This includes opportunities for expansion of their current roles and promotion, wherever possible and in line with Fòs Feminista’s strategic objectives. In addition, to help enrich Team Members’ engagement with their work with one another and with the organizations we work with worldwide, we offer the opportunity to take language classes online at no cost to Team Members.
