Fòs Feminista Welcomes New and Renewed Board and Committee Members
Fòs Feminista is pleased to welcome new and returning members to its Board of Directors and committees, strengthening the Alliance’s collective leadership at a critical moment for sexual and reproductive justice globally.
The Board recently welcomed two new directors: Rebecca Fries from Canada/United States and Jose Luis Palma from Mexico. Fòs Feminista is also delighted to announce the appointment of Mayra Diaz-Torres from Puerto Rico as Vice Chairwoman of the Board, as well as the renewed Board appointments of Lusungu Kalanga from Malawi and Gabriela Naves Caldas Pereira from Brazil.
These leaders join a highly committed and visionary Board of Directors, whose diverse perspectives and strategic stewardship guide the work of the Fòs Feminista Alliance. Their leadership is especially important as feminist movements, civil society organizations, and sexual and reproductive health and rights advocates continue to navigate an increasingly challenging international context.
