Sandra had many difficulties raising her 13-year-old daughter, Luc\u00eda. They didn't have a good relationship and Sandra could not understand her daughter\u2019s aggressive behavior, isolation, and sadness. A friend told her to take Luc\u00eda to <a href=\"https:\/\/cepamgye.org\">CEPAM-G<\/a> j\u00e1 que eles ajudaram muitas mulheres que ela conhece.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span>\n\n<span data-contrast=\"none\">Foi em janeiro de 2023 que Sandra procurou ajuda da equipe de aconselhamento do CEPAM-G, uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o que apoia sobreviventes de viol\u00eancia de g\u00eanero h\u00e1 mais de tr\u00eas d\u00e9cadas.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span>\n\n<span data-contrast=\"none\">The psychologist detected that Luc\u00eda had been a victim of sexual abuse by her paternal grandfather two years ago. Sandra was shocked to hear that her daughter had been going through this all alone, but she was relieved to finally understand the reasons behind her daughter's behaviors. Sandra knew that what happened to her daughter was rape and it must be punished. She decided to accompany her daughter, and they both continued with psychological help. CEPAM-G\u2019s team activated measures according to the processes of care and legal advice.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span>\n\n<span data-contrast=\"none\">Durante todo esse processo, Sandra notou uma mudan\u00e7a significativa no comportamento de Luc\u00eda. Ela n\u00e3o estava mais com tend\u00eancias suicidas e seu relacionamento com Sandra e seus irm\u00e3os havia melhorado. Sandra nunca culpou a filha pelo que havia acontecido, mas entendeu por que a filha poderia ter pensado assim. Agora que Sandra sabia o que havia acontecido, ela conseguiu construir uma rela\u00e7\u00e3o de confian\u00e7a com a filha.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span>\n\n<span data-contrast=\"none\">Luc\u00eda's father never appeared, leaving Sandra to handle this process alone. Sandra knew that she didn't want her daughter's paternal grandfather to rape other people, particularly young girls. She wants to ensure that justice is served for her daughter and for the other girls who might be victims of her daughter's grandfather.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span>\n\n<span data-contrast=\"none\">Through the accompaniment of the team, Sandra and Luc\u00eda are learning to overcome this hard experience and relate better. They have reconciled their relationship and they are now able to enjoy each other's company and even have fun together, which was not possible before.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span>\n\n<span data-contrast=\"none\">Sandra is grateful for the support she received from CEPAM-G and is committed to being there for her daughter through this difficult time. She knows that it won't be easy, but with their continued effort, they can overcome this hard experience and grow stronger as a family. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span>\n\n<span data-contrast=\"none\">Assim como Sandra, dezenas de mulheres e meninas receberam apoio por meio do projeto Futuros Feministas Livres de Viol\u00eancia, implementado pela F\u00f2s Feminista e seus parceiros em diferentes pa\u00edses da Am\u00e9rica Latina e financiado pela Global Affairs Canada.
