Organiza\u00e7\u00f5es locais de sa\u00fade sexual e reprodutiva, como a parceira do F\u00f2s Feminista <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ticahealth.org\/\">Trust for Indigenous Culture and Health (TICAH)<\/a>, have been essential in addressing the urgent needs of women and girls in Kenya since the emergency of the pandemic.\n\nTICAH\u2019s work begins with listening to communities \u2013 and particular to women and girls \u2013 as the foundation of improving health and wellbeing, and then building around existing local resources and knowledge. Their work is rooted in the premise that the expression of arts and culture is a marker of a community\u2019s health, and that cultural expression and holistic health are intricately connected.\n\nThese principles have been key to TICAH\u2019s ability to adapt to the COVID-19 context and respond to the priorities of the communities in which they work.\n\nThrough community engagement, TICAH <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voanews.com\/a\/arts-culture_artists-kenya-spreading-health-messages-through-their-works\/6195137.html\">organizou uma exposi\u00e7\u00e3o de arte<\/a> - uma instala\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00f3vel que poderia percorrer diferentes locais - para apresentar o trabalho de 46 artistas diferentes, cuja renda foi particularmente afetada durante a pandemia devido ao fechamento de galerias de arte.
